ABOUT ME

Hi there! 
I am Vincent Janssen, a Berlin-based Director, Writer, Producer and Creative from Maastricht, the Netherlands.
 
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a strong interest in storytelling. Getting my first camera at the age of 13 inspired me to start making short films.
 
During my studies of “Communication—International Event, Music & Entertainment Studies” in Tilburg, the Netherlands, my attention shifted to the world of cinema. As part of my studies, I spent a semester in Lillehammer, Norway, where I pursued my minor, “Contemporary Scandinavian Fiction and Film Production.” 
 
Throughout my communication studies, my love for film expanded, eventually leading to me moving to Berlin in 2021 to study at Met Film School. I had the opportunity to produce, write, and direct a collection of short films- both within and outside of my studies. My fictional graduation film, “Two Suns in the Sunset,” was finished in Berlin at the beginning of 2024. It deals with two brothers reuniting in the context of the imminent end of the world.
 
Following my graduation from MET Film School, I have decided to stay in Berlin and work as a video and photographer for commercial and promotional work, as well as a content creator / social media manager.
